Natur verbunden.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Kari hat den Betrieb bereits von seinem Vater \u00fcbernommen und jahrelang Milchwirtschaft mit +\/- 30 Redholstein K\u00fchen betrieben. Als sich Linda dazu entschieden hat, den Betrieb weiterzuf\u00fchren enstand die Idee zur Umstellung von der Milchkuh zur Mutterkuh, sprich von der Milchproduktion zur Fleischproduktion.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bereits im Jahr 2017 wurden die Milchk\u00fche von Kari mit Fleischrassen-Stieren besamt und die weiblichen Tiere nachgenommen. Alle unsere K\u00fche und Rinder sind auf dem Awandelhof geboren und aufgewachsen. Es handelt sich um Kreuzungen von Redholstein und Limousin (RHxLI) sowie Redholstein und Aubrac (RHxAU).<\/p>\n

Was heisst Mutterkuhhaltung?<\/span>
<\/strong>Aus Gras wird Fleisch \u2013 Die K\u00e4lber bleiben im Stall und auf der Weide mit ihren M\u00fcttern zusammen. Die Aufzucht in der Mutterkuhherde ist eine nat\u00fcrliche Haltungsform, welche Tierwohl und Tiergesundheit optimal ber\u00fccksichtigt. Freilandhaltung mit Sommerweiden und Winterauslauf ist Voraussetzung. Die F\u00fctterung besteht vorwiegend aus Muttermilch und sp\u00e4ter auch aus Gras und Heu. Die K\u00e4lber bleiben bis zur Schlachtung im Alter von rund 10 Monaten bei ihrer Mutter.<\/p>\n

Verkauf von Rindfleisch<\/span>
<\/strong>Unser Ziel ist es unsere Tiere direkt vermarkten zu k\u00f6nnen. Dies bedeutet, dass wir die Tiere selber in den Schlachhof nach Glattfelden fahren, um ihnen lange Transportwege in einem fremden Lastwagen zu ersparen.<\/p>\n

Das Fleisch wird bei einem regionalen Metzger ca. drei Wochen gelagert und anschliessend portioniert und durch uns verpackt und vakumiert.<\/p>\n

Wir verkaufen Mischpackete \u00e0 10 Kg f\u00fcr Fr. 30.00 pro Kg.<\/p>\n
